Welcome aboard Motoryacht Isla, our vintage 58-foot trawler yacht. A perfect cruising boat for experiencing the wonders of Bacuit Bay, Isla’s styling is retro classic, and even when she was built in 1961, she looked like a boat from the 1930s or 1940s. She has a lot of wood surfaces and trim, and a beautiful aft deck made of rare primary-growth Burmese teak. Isla is powered by a massive 24-liter Gardner 8L3 diesel engine, and cruises at 7-8 knots.
Isla was originally built for entertaining. She features a spacious rear deck with two dining tables, an interior saloon with panoramic windows, a large roofdeck that is ideal for sunbathing or taking in 360-degree views of the bay, and four sleeping cabins. She can comfortably fit up to 25 passengers for day trips, or up to 12 persons for overnight trips. Isla charters include use of a 15-horsepower rubber boat, an inflatable kayak, and an inflatable SUP, plus snorkeling equipment, lifejackets, life rings, and all required safety features and equipment. All trips include food and feature a cash bar onboard. Air-conditioning in the interior spaces and use of our accompanying “Kidlat” speedboat are available on request (extra fees apply).
M/Y Isla's signature day tour takes in the highlights of less crowded South Bacuit Bay, including Pinagbuyutan Island, Malapacao Island, South Lagen Island, Lagen Sandbar, and other destinations as weather permits
