North Palawan Surf Safari

(November to March only)

Experience the surf Mecca that is North Palawan aboard Motoryacht Isla! Superb breaks lash largely empty beaches north of El Nido and the northern and western reaches of the Calamian Group (Coron).

It takes some work to get to these breaks. The open sea crossings to some of the better waves can be rough, especially when the swell is pumping. Other breaks require a hike through the jungle. But once you are out there catching solitary waves, it will all be worth it.

Sturdy and strong, M/Y Isla is the ideal vessel for surf safaris. These safaris generally require at least a few liveaboard nights, with a combination of resort living (extra fees apply) or beach camping possible on the other nights (let us know your budget and required comfort level).

For liveaboard trips, she can comfortably fit up to eight passengers in the four air-conditioned cabins and up to four additional passengers in the saloon or on the roofdeck.

All multiday trips aboard M/Y Isla include use of a 15-horsepower rubber boat, an inflatable kayak, and an inflatable SUP, plus snorkeling equipment, lifejackets, life rings, and all required safety features and equipment. Other amenities include comfortable seating, a refrigerator, several Bluetooth speakers, and plenty of power outlets for device-charging.

All trips include three meals per day curated by our partner coworking cafe, Neighbors & Nomads, with a cash bar onboard. Use of our accompanying “Kidlat” speedboat can be arranged on request (extra fees apply).

Additional or fewer than the standard 7 days for this trip may be available on request. Additional days start at PHP 75,000/day for 2 pax plus PHP 3,000/day per additional person.
